Next upcomming event: International Lighthouse Weekend

Starting 18th August 2007 @ 0000 UTC

Since I'm a programmer (i.e. when I'm not behind the radio) I made the biggest part of this site with notepad. No fancy frontpage tools with WYSIWYG features. By building this website I also made my first steps with XML and everything that comes with it. XML is a powerfull thing when it is used to it full extents. In the near future I'll dedicate a part of this site to work and create XML, XSL, XSLT and al those fancy things. In the mean time you can enjoy the dynamic bandplan and the ITU Call allocation page, My DXCC standings and the Log of this website. All built using XML one way or another.

This website has not been updated for several years. This due to some unforseen circumstances. A lot has happend though. A lot of new DXCC countries have been worked and confirmed. I also have a DXCC award hanging on the wall. The station has changed significantly. New transceivers, better tuners; And best of all: the tower is due to be installed within the next couple of weeks.

Since life is not about hamradio alone, I also developped some other interrests. I went back to school and got myself a degree in electronics. I started scuba diving and now I'm an advanced open water diver. My dream though is to become an instructor and then move to Egypt and give some dive courses in Hurghada, Egypt.

So, I started to update this site, and I will continue to do so. Some things will change other things will be updated. More to follow.
